BBC HealthHub is a physical Health & Wellbeing mobile application prototype which was developed in collaboration with BBC Scotland. The given brief specified that the delivered product must fit  within the BBC Family by aligning with the BBC's missions and values, reinforces the BBC as a trustworthy news source, and makes use of the BBC Gel visual suite.
The outcome of the project was immensely successful, as the BBC were delighted with the final outcome. In addition to this, this project was one of three (out of a total of forty submissions) selected to be presented to the UX Design team at BBC Scotland headquarters in Glasgow,  broadcasted to their offices in London and Cardiff.

Research
The first step in the research process of this project was to carry out a SWOT Analysis  of the BBC itself, and then performed a Heuristic Markup of the BBC News website in order to establish potential flaws within the BBC's design practices that could be amended in the final prototype. Following on from this, I carried out extensive research into the target demographic itself, with particular emphasis on how their lifestyles had been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on health and wellbeing.
Next I carried out some Competitor Analysis of similar digital products to examine their respective strengths and weaknesses in regard to not only being effective Health-tracking tools, but also providing strong User Experiences. Then, I conducted a short User Survey where I asked participants within the target demographic to answer a series of questions to gauge key influences which will impact the outcome of the prototype, finishing with the creation of User Personas, Empathy Mapping, and using the Kano/MoSCoW prioritisation method.
